Labor Day

We have done lots of family things this weekend, but we won't backtrack. We'll focus on the fact that today was a good day. Today, we leisurely got up, I got a shower, DH took care of the kids while I got ready and vice versa. We went to the Matthews Car show. LJ melted down a little at the end, but he's been rather argumentative lately overall. Not sure what part is school anxiety or other stomach issues. But it was fun, and we got home. They had quiet time, I went to Target & Old Navy and had MY quiet time. Came back, made dinner, got them in bed, coffee is prepped, lunch box has a good start on it, school clothes set out, laundry detergent made, laundry folded, half of laundry ironed...in good shape for school starting back tomorrow. But the important thing is DH & I didn't argue today, we teased a little bit, and things went smoothly parenting-wise. So this is not a long blog, but just enough to say it was a good day.
